In this interactive class, participants will learn more about orbit paths, galaxy movement, and the patterns of moons and stars. Each student will go home with a neat space themed craft! \n\n\n\nALL SESSIONS SOLD OUT – Grades 3 – 6: Backyard Biomes9:30 am, 11 am, & 1 pm$14 (+ tax) per participant, per class\n\n\n\nWeather patterns have a big impact on plants and animals! We will connect knowledge about the hydrosphere and atmosphere with the biosphere and determine what kind of biome we find in our Alabama backyards.\n\n\n\nALL SESSIONS SOLD OUT – Grades 7 – 12: Pigeon Incision – Pigeon Dissection9:30 am & 11 am$26 (+ tax) per participant, per class       \n\n\n\nIn this class, participants will learn about different types of birds and interact with biofacts (material from a once-living organism) like feathers, wings, and skulls. Participants will dissect a pigeon to learn more about the interesting anatomy of birds.\n\n\n\nLimited spots available. Admission to the Exhibits is not included. \n\n\n\nThere are two ways to register: in person at the Guest Services desk in the Museum lobby or contact the Group Sales department during regular weekday business hours at (256) 898-6312.\n
