Lunch & Learn: Insects of the Night
When: Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Noon
Cost: Free for Members (ticket required), $5 for non-Members; Lunch and General Admission to the Exhibits are NOT included.
Join us at the Cook Museum as Sarah May, the Museum’s Ectotherm Specialist, discusses insect life that occurs at night – the chirping you hear, the fireflies you see, and the pollinating that happens. Also learn about how you can use a blacklight to see the insects that are creeping around in the dark. There will be a Q&A session after the presentation.
The Cook Museum’s Lunch & Learn Lecture Series provides educational and engaging lectures to inspire attendees to be more curious about the natural world around us.
General Admission to the Museum is NOT included. Participants may purchase lunch in advance from Nature’s Table by placing an order online at www.cookmuseum.naturestable.com. Participants may also bring a lunch with them. The doors will open at 11:30 am for those that want to eat before the talk begins.
There are two ways to get your ticket: in person at the Guest Services desk in the Museum lobby or contact the Group Sales department during regular weekday business hours at groups@cookmuseum.org or (256) 898-6312.
